Tags & Tuts by Magik 2

This board is to show off any tags or tutorials I've done,
using any of my own kits- PTU or FTU.

As I've said so many times: I believe if you make a kit,
you should be able to use it & sometimes CT it yourself as well. 

Anyway, each tag or set of tags I'll post in a new entry in here.
I won't be posting all of the extras I made with my kits 

since they're already re-posted on my blog.

I have been trying to find my mojo to make a new kit.
I think it's AWOL atm. 

So, earlier tonight I started on making a tag 

with my 'For The Love...Of My Cat' kit.

The tag turned out pretty cute, I think.   
Then I decided to make a set of tag extras 

that I donated to the Artistic Tag Passions forum. 
I thought it might be a purr-fect set of exclusive extras 

they can add to their little shop & members can spend 

their hard-earned points on.   

Anyway, my tag basically looks like the extras, 

except it has my name on it.   

This is what the extras look like 

(minus the 'SAMPLE' I have stamped across this one):

The artwork I'd used is the aww-dorable artwork of Maryline Cazenave,
which can be found over at the CDO store.

I decided to make another tag, this time using 

my 'For The Love...Of My Dog kit.

I also made another set of tag extras that I 

donated to the Artistic Tag Passions forum.
They needed a second set to compliment the kitty set I gave them

So I'm a little stuck as far as what theme or idea for a kit I want to do next. 
I have about 25 folders/ ideas for kits made...
I just don't know what I want to try atm. 

Instead, I decided to make a few tags with a few of my own kits. 

For this first tag, I used the following:

Artwork- Keith Garvey
Kit- All About The Base
Template- Brutal Designs BD Template Grey Tones1

For this next one, I used:

Artwork- Ted Hammond
Kit- A Kick In The Grass
Template- Elegant Inspirations- EI_Template176_pooker

And finally, I used the artwork of Jose Cano & my Velvet Rose kit.
The template I used comes from Elegant Inspirations- EI_Template162_pooker

I'm really trying to get myself tagging a bit.
 I tend to get distracted. 

Anyway, I managed to get this Facebook set 

made with my Dead Lovers' Lane kit and my 

Facebook temp which can be found here: Template 0043.

The artwork I used is one of my own commissions 

of Ville Valo from Arthur Crowe.

I've managed to get some tags made. 
I've been participating in some of the challenges we have here
in our Halloween Boards in the forum as well as a couple of challenges
in our Tagger Challenge group.

This first tag I made for a Halloween mask challenge. 
I used my Dead Lovers' Lane kit to make this tag,
along with one of my commissioned tubes from Arthur Crowe:

This next tag I made using my FTU Devil's Night kit 

as a challenge in our Halloween Boards.

I also have a special group here on the site for challenges using my items only.
One of the challenges was to make a tag using my retired PTU Autumn Festival kit. 
Here's my tag using the kit in the challenge:

And finally, in the Halloween Boards we have a challenge using
some awesome tag templates from Kristin of Toxic Desirez.

I used my newly released Fa-Boo-Lous kit for this tag:

I have a couple of tags to show off that I've made with my own kits.
I didn't get these posted sooner... because... I kinda forgot. 

We had some Tagger Challenges in the Taggers Challenges Group.

One challenge was to make a tag using my 

FTU Shabby Autumn FTU Add-On kit.

The challenge was to use my kit, a specified choice 

of templates, masks & font. 

This was my tag:

Another challenge in the group was to make 

a tag using my FTU Power Of Pink kit.

For this challenge, only certain papers, frames & 

elements could be used from the kit, along with specified choice of template, 

word art, mask & font in the list of options. 

This was my tag result:

I did end up making a matching forum set for the BCA tag as well:

Well, kind of.

I have since made a couple (?) while experiencing down-time

I have a few tags that I've made to post as well.

Creating challenges for the few members here
has helped me start making tags again
as time allows... and these are Challenge tags...
but ones made with my kits, so.... I'm posting them here. 

In the forum here, I'd made a 'Strawberry Kisses Template Challenge' 

where members had to use a template I'd chosen 

& also my PTU-Now FTU For MBM
Members- kit 'Indulgence' to make a tag.

This is my own result with my kit for the challenge:

This next tag I had fun making.

My only regret is not writing a tutorial for it. 

I'd posted a Yellow Polka Dot Bikini Challenge.

For this challenge, we had to make a tag based on the song lyrics 
"Two, three, four, tell the people what she wore
It was an itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini"

More specifically, the tags should have yellow, 
polka dots & a bikini somewhere in the tag. 
And these lyrics for word art on the tag:
"An itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini."
For bonus heartagrams,
we could use a tube with a yellow polka dot bikini. 

I'd used my 'She Sells Seashells' kit for this tag:




For another challenge I'd posted,
members had to make a tag using a choice of templates
and masks from posts on the Creative Misfits blog,
as well as my FTU 'Pool Party' kit.
Our tags also needed the word 'Party' someplace on the tag.
This is my result:




And finally, for our 'Sand & Sea' challenge,
we had to make a tag or forum set
using any kits or other materials
to give our tags or sets a sand and sea theme.
No tubes or artwork were to be used for this challenge.

I used my 'Beach Treasures' kit 

to make this animated forum set:
