PTU- What's Your Fetish?

*The kit I used for this tutorial is no longer available for purchase.
It was part of a collab for a shop that has since closed
and the designer has since retired.
However, if you had obtained this kit in the past,

This tutorial is borne from my own manipulated lil' mind. 
Any similarity to any other tutorial(s) is purely coincidental.
This tutorial was written for those who have a working 
knowledge of PSP and was written using PSP X2, 
tho' any version should work.

Supplies Needed:
Scrapkit: I'm using a hot kit from Tasha's Playground.
This was her part of the awesome Toxic Fetish collab 
that could only be found at The PSP Project.
*This kit is no longer available.

Tube: I'm using the amazing artwork of Keith Garvey.
I had bought this hot artwork by visiting 
his store at Garv-Girls PSP Tubes.
Do not use this artwork unless you have a license to do so 
& have purchased the tube.

Mask(s): a nice grungy of choice
& an optional text mask

Filters: Xero-Porcelain
Eye Candy 4000- Gradient Glow

Font: Art Studio

Drop shadow: 2 2 50 4, black 

Save your progress often.  

Let's do this!  

Open a new canvas 600 X 600 px.
Copy & paste paper5. 

Apply your mask & merge group.

* I also pasted paper4 on top of the mask layer
& applied a second mask that was just text. 

Next, add the cage. 

Resize 90%. 
Rotate 10 right. 

Add a drop shadow.

Open up frame2. 

Copy & paste. 

Resize 65%.
Place off to the left. 

Using your magic wand, 
click inside each part of the frame. 
Selections- Modify & expand by 4. Invert. 
Copy & paste paper1, resizing 75%.
Hit delete & keep selected.

Now add your tube or closeup to each selection.
Hit delete on each. 

Select none.
Crop to canvas & erase any excess as needed
on the tube layers. 

Now, merge those tube layers 
down onto each other. 

Duplicate. 

On the top one, add a Gaussian blur of 3. 

Change the blend mode to Soft Light.
On the bottom one, change the blend mode Luminance (L).
Add a drop shadow. 

Move your frame above your paper & 
tube layers and add a drop shadow.

Now, add your main tube. 

Resize as needed.
Apply Xero-Porcelain:

Finally, add a drop shadow to your tube.

Now we'll add some elements.
For each one, I added a drop shadow to, 
unless specified otherwise.

scatter- Move below your tube in layers palette.
Place near the bottom of tag.

heart trio- 65%. 

Rotate 10 left.
Place on top left of the cage.

star box- 35%
Place on the left.

skull spray- Mirror. 50%
Place on left on top of the star box.

spikey bomb- 45%
Place on the right.

nailed heart- 55%. 

Rotate 12 right. 
Place on right side of cage.

gasmask- 47%
Place just off to the left, in front of your tube.

choker- 37%. 

Rotate 22 right.
Hang this off on the top right corner of the cage.

sparkle1- 90%. Sharpen.
No drop shadow.

Add any other elements if you prefer.

Crop & resize to your own liking.

Now add your proper copyrights & watermarks.

Now add your name.  
Add a gradient glow at these settings: 

 Then add your drop shadow to this layer.

Finally, merge visible & save as a PNG & enjoy.

 have a lot of fun with Tasha's kit.
