PTU Now FTU- Shake Your Shamrocks

This tutorial is borne from my own manipulated lil' mind. 
Any similarity to any other tutorial(s) is purely coincidental.
This tutorial was written for those who have a working 
knowledge of PSP and was written using PSP X1, 
tho' any version should work.

Supplies Needed: 
Scrapkit: I'm using a stunning kit from Tasha's Playground
named Shamrock Shuffle.
This was a PTU kit, but you can now get it for free here.
*Make sure to leave some love for the kit. 

Tube: I'm using the beautiful artwork of Trinita.
You can find this & more at Pics For Design.
Do NOT use any artwork unless you have a license to do so 
& have purchased or obtained the tube legally.

Template: My Template0037 which was inspired by Tasha's kit.
You can grab it from my blogpost, here.

Mask: There's some fabulous St. Patty's masks at the 
Creative Misfits blog. You can find them here. 
The one I'm using is CMPattysMask1 By Ella
*Make sure to leave some love for the masks. 

Filters: Xenofex 2- Constellation
Tramages- Metal Peacocks
Xero- Radiance
Xero- Porcelain
Eye Candy 4000- HSB Noise
Eye Candy 4000- Gradient Glow 

Font: FontleroyBrown

Drop shadows: 3 3 55 8, black. for the tag & name
20 12 60 4, black &  12 20 60 4, black for the butterflies.

Save your progress often.  

Let's do this!  

Open up the template. 

Duplicate it & close original. 
Delete the credit layer at the top.
Working from the bottom layer of the template, up:

Just above the white bkgrd layer, add a new layer.
Flood fill with a foreground/ background gradient:
#77a445 & #015933 for your colours,
Angel- 45, Repeats- 4
Then, apply your mask & merge group.
Now, apply Xenofex 2- Constellation to 
your mask at these settings:

large center circle- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert. 
Delete this layer & paste paper11, resized 80%.
Hit delete & select none. 

Crop to canvas.
Drop shadow.

large center diamonds- delete

top R. circle 1- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert. 
Delete this layer & paste paper2.
Hit delete & select none. 

Crop to canvas.
Drop shadow.

bottom L. circle 1- select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper2.
Hit delete & select none. 

Crop to canvas.
Drop shadow.

top R. diamonds- use the manual color correction
to tool to change the colour with #000000 as your source 
& #e9ff96 (or a colour from your tube) as your target.

bottom L. diamonds- Edit- Repeat Manual Color Correction

top R. circle 2- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper8, resized 70%. 
Hit delete & select none. 

bottom L. circle 2- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper5, resized 80%.
Hit delete. 

Select none. 

L. rectangle- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper12.
Hit delete. Select none. 

Crop to canvas. 

Duplicate. Mirror. 

Drop shadow both.

R. rectangle- delete.

L. shamrock- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper10.
Hit delete. 

Select none. 

Crop to canvas.
Add a gradient glow at these settings:

Then with your magic wand, with these settings:

Click the gradient glow you just added.
Then Adjust- Add Noise at these settings:
Uniform/ Monochrome/ 50 
Select none & add a drop shadow.

R. shamrock- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper10.
Hit delete. 

Select none. 

Crop to canvas.

Repeat the same steps adding the gradient glow, 
noise & drop shadow.

Sm. center circle 1- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper3, resized 80%.
Hit delete. 

Select none. 

Crop to canvas.
Drop shadow.

Sm. center diamonds- delete

Sm. center circle 2- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper7.
Hit delete. 

Select none.

Sm. center circle 3- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper9, resized 80%.
Hit delete. 

Select none.

word art bkgrd shadow & word art bkgrd layers- skip

word art- using your magic wand, select the 'Shamrocks'.
Add a bevel at these settings:

Select none.

Then select the word 'Shake' & add 
Tramages- Metal Peacocks at these settings:

Then add the bevel at the same settings & select none.

Next add your main tube. 

Resize as needed.
Position slightly off to the left of the tag.
Move her below the word art layers in the layers palette.
Apply Xero- Radiance at these settings:

Then apply Xero- Porcelain to soften the green a little bit:

Add a drop shadow.

Next we'll add some elements.
For each one, I added a drop shadow to, 
unless specified otherwise.

dots- Place on the right side.
Move down below the tube & word art 
in layers palette.

frame5- 105%. 

Place over the center circles.
Move down in layers palette so that it's just below
the plaid paper we used.

sequins2- 85%.
Place on the top left corner.
In layers palette, right click, 
Arrange-Send to bottom.
Move it up to just above your mask layer.

arrows- 50%. 

Place on the lower right.
Duplicate. 

Mirror & Flip.
Add a bevel to both using the same settings 
we used for the word art.

potofgold- 60%. 
Place on the lower left.

beer2- 65%. 
Place on the left of the potofgold.

horseshoe- 45%. 

Rotate 20 right.
Place on the lower right & move below 
word art layers in the layers palette.

chain- 80%. 

Place on the right.
Duplicate & mirror.

brad2- 57%. 

Rotate 10 right.
Place on the top right like my example.
I moved mine below my tube in layers palette.

shamrock2- 40%. 

Place on the left
like my example.

shamrock4- 50%. 

Rotate 15 left.
Sharpen. Place in the upper left,
above the other shamrock.

shamrock3- 50%. 

Rotate 20 left. 
Sharpen. Place on the right.

charm- 60%. 

Rotate 17 left. 

Sharpen.
Place on the lower left.
Duplicate & mirror.
Move the left one up slightly.

staples- Copy & paste onto your canvas.
Use your lasso to select the bottom 2.
Hit delete & select none.
Now resize the staples you have left 45%.
Place on the left over the chain like my example.
Duplicate & mirror.

scatter- place in the lower center of tag.

butterfly- Duplicate.
resize one 45%. 

Rotate 27 right.
Place on the top left. 

Sharpen.
Use these settings for the drop shadow:
20 12 60 4, black.

On the other one, resize 35%.
Rotate 37 left. 

Sharpen. Edit- Repeat sharpen.
Place on the right.
Use these settings for the drop shadow:
12 20 60 4, black.

Add any other elements, if you prefer at this time.

Now, crop/ resize your tag to your own preferences.

Then, add your proper copyrights & watermarks.

Next add your name.
Apply Eye Candy 4000- HSB Noise 
at default settings. 

Then add a gradient glow:

With your magic wand, select the glowed part & 
add noise at the same settings used for shamrocks.
And a drop shadow. 

Make sure you change it back to
3 3 55 8, black 

Finally, delete the white background, 

merge visible, save as a PNG & enjoy.
