PTU- Christmas Warmth

This tutorial is borne from my own manipulated lil' mind. 
Any similarity to any other tutorial(s) is purely coincidental.
This tutorial was written for those who have a working 
knowledge of PSP and was written using PSP X1, 
tho' any version should work.

Supplies Needed: 
Scrapkit: I'm using my PTU kit Christmas Joy.
You can find this kit in my shop. 

Tube: I'm using the gorgeous artwork of Alex Prihodko.
You can find this & many others at Pics For Design.
Do NOT use any artwork unless you have a license to do so 
& have purchased or obtained the tube legally.

Template: PixiePookerCollabTemp1 from Pooker
at Elegant Inspirations.
You can find the template here.
* Leave her some lovin' for the template.  

Mask: DD_WinterMask_2 from Dee.
 You can find this mask set here.
* Remember to say thank you for the masks. 

Filters: Penta- Color Dot
Penta- Jeans
Xero-Porcelain
Eye Candy 4000- Gradient Glow 

Font:  Intima Script (this is a PTU font)

Drop shadow: 1 1 50 8, black.

Save your progress often.  

Let's do this!  

Open up the template. 
Duplicate it & close original. 
Delete the credit layer at the top.

Delete these other layers:
Green Dotted Circle2
& Brown Dotted Circle.

Now, resize the template to 665 px X 665 px.

Working from the bottom layer of the template, up:

Copy & paste paper 4 above the closed 
white background layer.
Apply your mask & merge group.
Duplicate. 

On the top one, apply some noise:
Uniform/ Monochrome/ 50%
Then drop the opacity down to 65%.

Lt.Pink Circles- Select all- float. Defloat. 
Delete this layer & add a new layer.
Flood fill with foreground/background gradient:
Angel-45/ Repeats- 3
with #f3dcba as your foreground & 
#ba9477 as your background colour.
Select none. 
Add a drop shadow.

Green Circles- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert. 
Delete this layer & paste paper 10, resized 80%.
Hit delete & select none. 

Pink Dotted Circles- use your manual color correction
to change the colour. 

I used #9a7559 for mine.

Brown Rectangle- select all- float. Defloat.
Delete this layer & add a new layer.
Flood fill with #af8985. 
Select none. Apply Penta- Color Dot at these settings:

Drop shadow. 

Khaki Rectangle- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper 13, resized 80%. 
Hit delete & select none. 

Brown Circle- Select all- float. Defloat.
Delete this layer & add a new layer.
Flood fill with #ba9477. 

Select none. 

Khaki Circle- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper 11, resized 70%.
Hit delete. 

Select none. 

Green Dotted Circle1- Use manual color correction to 
change the colour to #f3dcba.

Khaki Dotted Circle- Manual color correction.
Change to this colour- #9e706c.

Pink Rectangle- Select all- float. Defloat.
Delete this layer & add a new layer.
Flood fill with #aeb57f. 

Select none.

Apply Penta Jeans:

Drop shadow.

Lt.Pink Rectangle- Select all- float. Defloat.
Delete this layer & add a new layer.
Flood fill with #f3dcba. 

Keep selected.
Selections- Modify- expand by 2.
Add a new layer below the layer you just filled.
Flood fill with #af8985. 

Select none.
Add noise at the same setting as used before.

Green Squares- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper 9, resized 107%.
Position so that one of the squares with the holly is 
inside the selection on the right side.
Hit delete. 

Select none. 

Crop to canvas.

Use your selection tool to draw a square around 
the left square. 

Hit delete.
Now, duplicate your holly square on the right.
 Mirror.

Brown Dotted Squares- Manual color correction.
Change to #9e706c.

Green Circle1- Select all- float. Defloat- Invert.
Delete this layer & paste paper 1.
Hit delete. 

Select none. 

Crop to canvas.
Drop shadow.

Next add your main tube. 

Resize as needed.
Position on the lower center of tag.
Apply Xero- Porcelain at these settings:

Add a drop shadow.

Next we'll add some elements.
For each one, I added a drop shadow to, 
unless specified otherwise.

Christmas tree- 
Position in the center of tag.
Move below your tube in layers palette.

bells- 45%. 
Place in the upper right of tag.

gifts- 50%.
Place on the right.
Move below tube in layers palette.

poinsettia- 35%.
Place in the upper left of tag.

berry branch- 45%. 

Mirror.
Place on left side.
Move below tube in layers palette.

candy cane- 40%. 

Mirror.
Place over the berry branch on the left.

list- 40%.
Move to right & position
with the gifts.
Move below tube in layers palette.

stocking- 35%.
Position on the right.

candles- 37%.
Place off to the right.

bottle- 45%.
Place off to the lower left.

cupcake- 27%.
Place off to the left, with the bottle.

Add any other elements, if you prefer at this time.

Now, crop/ resize your tag to your own preferences.

Then, add your proper copyrights & watermarks.

Next add your name.

Then add a gradient glow:

And add a drop shadow.

Finally, delete the white background, 
merge visible, save as a PNG & enjoy.
