PTU- Diamond Faerie

This tutorial is borne from my own manipulated lil' mind. 
Any similarity to any other tutorial(s) is purely coincidental.
This tutorial was written for those who have a working 
knowledge of PSP and was written using PSP X1, 
tho' any version should work.

Supplies Needed: 
Scrapkit: I'm using Birthstone Series: Diamond
from Tasha's Playground.
*This kit is not available for purchase.

Tube: I'm using the artwork of Barbara Jensen.
You can find more of her gorgeous artwork here.
Do not use this artwork unless you have a license to do so 
& have purchased the tube.

Mask: I'm using a gorgeous mask from Dee. 
I used mask 'f' & you can find it in this pack, here.
* Make sure to leave some love for the masks.

Filters: Xero- Ultraviolet
Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow

Font: Geeoh Hmk Bold

Drop shadows: 0 0 50 12, black for frames
-10 20 50 12, black for tube
-5 10 50 10, black for elements & name
0 0 50 10, black for diamonds

Save your progress often.  

Let's do this!  

Open a new canvas 650 X 650 px.
Copy & paste paper5. 
Apply your mask & merge group.
I resized mine 110%.
Duplicate.

Next, copy & paste frame3.
With your magic wand, click inside the frame.
Selections- Modify- Expand by 4. Invert.
Copy & paste paper1.
Hit delete & select none.
Move this below your frame in layers palette.
Add a drop shadow to the frame.

Now, copy & paste frame2 &
place it on top of frame one, centering it.
Drop shadow.

Next, add your tube.
Place her off to the right.
Apply Xero- Ultraviolet at these settings:

I added this drop shadow to my tube:
-10 20 50 12, black.

Now we'll add some elements.
For each one, I added a drop shadow to, 
unless specified otherwise.

ribbon- 60%. 

Rotate 30 left.
Place on the lower right.
Move below tube in layers palette.
Add the following drop shadow:
-5 10 50 10, black

flower2- 35%
Position on the lower-ish right.
Move below the ribbon in layers palette.
Duplicate. Place this one just to left of 
center bottom of the frames. 

leaf- 35%. 

Duplicate.
On the first one, Mirror it.
Then rotate it 15 left.
Place it with the top flower
& move below it in layers palette.

Flip the other one.
Then place that one below the other 
pink flower on the left.

charm1- 55%. Sharpen.
Place in the top center of 
the frames like my example.
Move below tube in layers palette.

feather- 60%. Mirror.
Rotate 10 left.
Move down slightly &
position off to the left.

jewel flower- 30%.
Place on the left, just slightly 
above the feather. 
Move below the feather in layers palette.

ribbon2-75%. 

Rotate 17 right. 
Move to the lower left, over the feather.

Now with your lasso tool 
(at these settings: point to point- add (shift) 
feather-0 smoothing- 0, anti-alias)
make a selection around the ribbon 
like my example (see arrows):

Hit delete & select none.
Add a drop shadow to your ribbon.

flowers- 60%. 
Place on the lower right.
Move below tube in layers palette.

flower4- 35%.
Place in the lower center of the flowers 
on the lower right.
Move below tube in layers palette.

flower1- 40%. Mirror.
Place on the left of frame,
above the jewel flower.

diamond scatter- 75%. 
Place on the upper left.
Duplicate. 

Mirror & flip.
In layers palette, left click & send to bottom. 

Repeat for the other.

Move both above your mask layers.
Position if needed by moving the 
top one scatter 'in' & pulling the bottom one 
out just slightly.

bubbles- 60%.
Place on the right,
slightly over your tube.

crown- 37%. 

Rotate 10 left.
Place on the lower right.

butterfly- Duplicate. 

Resize one 30%. 
Position on the right.

Resize the other 25%.
Mirror & rotate 10 left.
Sharpen. 

Place on the 
left on the feather.
I did change the drop shadow 
for this butterfly to 
10 10 50 10, black & repeated 
that drop shadow.

diamond- 15%. 

Duplicate.
Place one 'inside' each of the pink flowers
like in my example.
Drop shadow used- 0 0 50 10, black

diamond2- 10%. 

Duplicate.
Place in the flowers like my example.
Same drop shadow as the other diamonds.

Add any other elements if you prefer.

Crop & resize to your own liking.

Now add your proper copyrights & watermarks.

Now add your name.  
Add a gradient glow at these settings: 

Then add your drop shadow to this layer,
using these settings:
-5 10 50 10, black.

Finally, merge visible, save as a PNG & enjoy.
