PTU Tutorial- Midnight Faerie

Another mask of choice could be used.

This tutorial is borne from my own manipulated lil' mind. 
Any similarity to any other tutorial(s) is purely coincidental.
This tutorial was written for those who have a working 
knowledge of PSP and was written using PSP X2, 
tho' any version should work.

Supplies Needed: 
Scrapkit: I'm using the stunning Dark Dreams kit
from Tasha's Playground.
*This kit is no longer available for purchase.

Tube: I'm using the artwork of Deacon Black.
I had bought this at CDO.
He has since left the store.
Do NOT use any artwork unless you have a license to do so 
& have purchased or obtained the tube legally.

Mask: MP-CandiedButterfliesMask2 from Maria's Place.
*Her blog is gone so the mask is no longer available.
Another mask of choice would work.

Filters: Xero- Radiance
Eye Candy 4000- Gradient Glow

Font: Distant Stroke (bold)

Drop shadows: 2 2 45 5, black 
24 8 55 12, black for butterflies 

Save your progress often.  

Let's do this!  

Open a new canvas 650 X 650 px.
Copy & paste paper03. 
Apply the mask & merge group.
Resize 110%.

Copy & paste frame03. Resize 90%.
With your magic wand, click inside the frame.
Selections- Modify- Expand by 6. 

Invert.
Copy & paste a paper of choice, resized 75%.
Hit delete. 

Select none.
Move the paper below your frame in layers palette.
Add a drop shadow to your frame.

Add your main tube. 

Resize as needed.
Position in front of the frame.
Apply Xero: Radiance at these settings:

Finally, add a drop shadow to your tube.

Now we'll add some elements.
For each one, I added a drop shadow, 
unless specified otherwise.

e04- Resize 45%.
Place at the top of frame.
Move below your rube in layers palette.

e28- Resize 75%. 
Place at the top.
Move to just above your mask in layers palette.
Duplicate & flip.
On both- Effects- Edge Effects- Enhance.
NO drop shadow.

e35- Resize 65%. 
Place on the right of the frame.
Move below tube in layers palette.

e10- 75%. Flip.
Move to the top of the frame.
Move below the tube in layers palette.

e08- Resize 37%.
Place with the clock on the right side.
Move below your tube in layers palette.

e07- Resize 27%
Place on the right, in front of the statue.

e47- Resize 80%. Mirror. 
Place in the lower right of the frame.
Move below the tube in layers palette.

e21- Resize 55%. 
Place in the upper left of frame.
Move below tube in layers palette.

e44-- Resize 37%.
Place on the lower left.
Move this below your tube in layers palette.

e51- Resize 55%. 
Place in the lower left with the scroll.
Move below your tube in layers palette.

e11- Resize 40%. 

Rotate 30 left.
Place with the other rose.
Again, move below your tube in
layers palette.

e30- Resize 50%. 
Place on the lower right.
Duplicate. 

Resize this one another 80%. 

Mirror. 
Place this one just off to the lower left.

e29- Resize 45%.
Place on the left.

e33- Resize 30%. 

Rotate 17 right. 

Sharpen.
Place in front of the blue bottle on the left.

e58- Resize 20%
Place on the left, near the key.

e37- Resize 80%. 
Position off to the left.
Move to just above the glitter in layers palette.
Duplicate & Mirror.

e61- Resize 25%
Place just over the clock on the right.
Add the following drop shadow:
24 8 55 12, black

e17- Resize 17%. 

Rotate 37 left.
Place in the upper right corner.
Add the same drop shadow for this butterfly.

Add any other elements if you prefer.

Crop & resize to your own liking.

Now add your proper copyrights & watermarks.

Now add your name.  
Add a gradient glow at these settings: 

Then add your drop shadow to this layer,
using these settings: 2 2 45 5, black 

Finally, merge visible & save as a PNG & enjoy.
